About

A decorator, not a catalog reseller

Safety Uniform Co. puts company marks on workwear. We are not trying to be a general merch shop — the whole catalog is chosen around garments people wear to work, and the decoration is chosen around how often those garments get washed.

The approach

How we think about a uniform job

The garment

The catalog is 493 garments and it is deliberately narrow at the workwear end: work shirts, work polos, overalls, coveralls, aprons and the high-visibility styles in AS Colour’s Safety range. We would rather recommend one garment we can reorder than list forty we cannot.

Anything outside the catalog is sourced against a named spec — brand, weight, fit — and that spec goes on the quote. If your site requires a certified garment, buy it to that certification and send it to us to decorate.

The decoration

Method follows the garment, the wash it will get and the size of the run — not whichever machine is free. A twelve-piece screen-print run and a one-off name on a jacket do not want the same process, and we will say so at quote stage rather than after.

Screen print, embroidery, DTF and DTG all run here, so switching between them costs a conversation rather than a new vendor and a new lead time.

How we work

What each method is actually doing

Not marketing numbers. Four plain descriptions of what happens to the garment, and what each one buys you on something that gets laundered every week.

Screen print

Cured into the fabric, not air-dried

Quality outcome

Heat bonds the ink into the fibers, so the print flexes with the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. It is the reason a screen print outlasts a transfer on a high-wash uniform, and the only way to lay down 3M reflective, puff or metallic.

Embroidery

Digitized per garment

Quality outcome

Stitch density is matched to the fabric, so a knit beanie and a twill cap both sit flat instead of puckering. Nothing sits on the surface to crack or lift, which is why it is the default for a polo or a jacket that has to look identical in two years.

DTF transfers

Pressed to a logged time and temperature

Quality outcome

Repeatable adhesion across the whole run rather than just the first tray, which matters most when every garment in the run carries a different name.

DTG

Printed straight into the cotton

Quality outcome

Full-color artwork with a soft hand and no minimum. It suits detail a screen cannot separate, and it is the wrong answer on polyester, where the dye will migrate into a light print.

We name the garment

Brand, weight and fit on the quote before you commit a dollar. If a style has to be substituted you hear it from us first, not when the box arrives.

02. Decorate

One shop, four methods

Screen print, embroidery, DTF and DTG all run here, so changing your mind about the method after the mockup costs a conversation rather than a new vendor.

03. Ship

Boxed how you asked

Folded, poly-bagged or split into size runs by destination. Blind shipping under your own branding and multi-address fulfillment are both available — say so at the start of the order.
