The difference
Why a facility order is not a merch order
It never stops being reordered
A merch drop happens once. A uniform program runs for years, in ones and twos, as people join and leave. That makes the reorder the important part of the job rather than the first run — so the artwork, the placement and the thread colours go on file and stay there.
It also means minimums matter more than price per piece. Embroidery, DTF and DTG all carry no minimum here, so replacing three scrub tops is a normal order rather than something you have to batch up and wait for.
It is laundered institutionally
Commercial laundry is hotter and harsher than anything domestic. That pushes almost every facility order toward embroidery, where the mark is stitched into the garment and there is nothing sitting on the surface to crack, lift or fade.
Where a printed mark is genuinely wanted — a large back panel, or full colour artwork — we will say plainly how it will age, rather than sell it as equivalent.

Left chest, embroidered, around 4.5 inches wide. Small enough to read as a uniform rather than as branding, and the one placement that survives being laundered every week for years.

Embroidered when the list is stable, DTF when it changes often — DTF has no per-name setup, so one name costs the same to prepare as fifty. Send the list alongside the size run and the order comes back sorted per person.

A sleeve or a back yoke, so people are identifiable across a room without turning the garment into signage. Say which departments and we will keep each one’s file separate.

Questions we get asked
Can I reorder two at a time?
Yes, and that is the normal shape of these orders. Embroidery, DTF and DTG carry no minimum. The artwork and settings stay on file, so a pair of replacements matches the ones already in service.
Will it survive commercial laundry?
Embroidery will — the mark is stitched into the garment, so there is nothing on the surface to break down. A printed mark on an institutionally laundered garment will show wear far sooner, and we would rather tell you that than take the order and have you find out.
Can you decorate garments we already buy?
Yes, and for scrubs bought to a facility standard that is usually the route. Send a spec sheet first so we can confirm the fabric takes a needle without distorting, and include 2–3% spoilage. We do not cover replacement cost on customer-supplied garments.
How do names and departments work?
Send a list against the size run — name, size, and department if there is one. The order comes back sorted per person rather than as a box somebody on your side has to sort.
Can you ship to more than one site?
Yes. Multi-address fulfillment is available, so a multi-site order can be split by destination rather than landing in one place to be redistributed. Say so at the start of the order.
