Which method belongs on a t-shirt
A tee will take any of the four. Quantity and fabric decide it, and the difference in price between the right choice and the wrong one is not small.
Screen print, past twelve

Twelve or more of the same design, and it keeps getting cheaper per piece from there. Ink is cured into the fabric so it flexes with it, which is why it is the choice for a tee that will be worn and washed constantly. It is also the only route to 3M reflective and puff.
DTF, under twelve

No minimum and no colour count, so six shirts is a normal order rather than a setup charge spread over six. It is also the answer when every shirt carries a different name, and the only one of the four that presses cleanly onto polyester.
DTG, for detail on cotton

Ink printed straight into the cotton, so there is nothing to feel on the surface. Right for photographic artwork or gradients a screen cannot separate. Wrong on polyester, where it has nothing to bond to.
Embroidery, for the long haul

Less common on a tee than on a polo, but if the shirt is part of a uniform that gets laundered institutionally, a stitched left-chest mark will outlast any print on it. No minimum, standard 4.5 inches wide.
Where most tee orders start
The Block Safety tee and long sleeve, the Stencil Safety hoodie and a work shirt — the four garments a crew usually ends up in together. 106 t-shirts in the catalog behind them.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
How many do I have to order?
One, if it goes DTF or DTG. Twelve per design if you want it screen printed. Past about a dozen, screen print is usually cheaper anyway, so the minimum tends to stop being the deciding factor on its own.
Do you stock high-visibility tees?
Yes — the AS Colour Block Safety tee and Block Safety long sleeve are both in the catalog, along with a Safety hoodie, beanie and cap. They are high-visibility styles rather than certified garments, and we say so plainly on the workwear page.
Can each shirt have a different name?
Yes, on DTF. There is no per-name setup charge, so one name costs the same to prepare as fifty. Send the list against the size run and the order comes back sorted per person.
What file format do you need?
Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) separates cleanest for screen print. Raster works at 300 DPI at final print size on a transparent background. Maximum print size is 15 × 18 inches.
Can you print on tees I already have?
Yes. Send a spec sheet first so we can confirm the fabric takes our inks — the fibre split matters more than the weight — and include 2–3% spoilage. We do not cover replacement cost on customer-supplied garments.
Price a run of tees
Send the artwork, roughly how many and the size split. Garments, decoration and freight come back priced as separate lines.
